it's been 2 months since i last posted!
and boy, lots of things have happened-
1) greece [12-18 dec 07]
2) christmas
3) new year
4) new class
5) CNY
6) fd com and trainings
7) ADVENTURE CAMP! whoo!
okay 1, greece was cool. air was pretty polluted though, everybody there smokes. the food is super fattening la! and all meat. so i gained a pretty BIG amount of weight. lots of cats around the place too. adorable but quite intimidating when they start following you. ruddy expensive macs, payed likw s$10 for a burger. it snowed! and i loveed the pretty inn we stayed in in napflion, yes, plus the HUGE breakfast. every family had it's own buffet. santorini was real pretty, watching the sunset, visiting the nice churches and are reaaaally elaborate. the villa was kinda cute too. just that we had no proper heating. i was jetlagged for the loooongest time! sleeping at 3+ and waking up at 12. heh.
2&3 were okay. xmas was at our place, new years was at aunty cat's. went for midnight mass on xmas. nearly froze even though i was wearing a jacket over my dress. teased my cousin about his new voice! and spoke to my val, raymond and emily through some strange internet contraption which i have no interest in knowing about. new years... we just watched tv.
4, AWESOME THREE TWOO! yeah! and cool ms mara! :D she's super nice to us! haha. bet all the other classes are jealous
5. it was at bendemeer sec again. quite a let down this time. didn't get into top 8. neither were we in the the top for our district. but RI didn't get in either. jurong sec won. sigh. it's time to move on i guess. and steph arh, please, i beg of you, stay calm and don't make me worry so much can? this silly little girl, i had to sing to her to get her to calm down. but it was worth it. i think we learnt a lot from each other that day.
6. yeah! it was super fun! all the cheers. we did dragon boating, ropes, absailing, elements, amazing race cum survivor, cooking, and the team-relay circuit really topped it off. sleeping in a tent was challenging mann. from 4 people to 7. cool right? haha. we shared a lot of funny moments too.
absailing was tough. i cried when i got down. i was just so freaked out at that moment. i don't blame the others for crying, it really was terrifying. and i truly understand how they feel. it's ok to cry. just make sure it doesn't get you down. during the intermediate ropes course i just felt so blessed to be on God's given earth! cause the few days before had been really trying. and i guess it was everything just pilling up. so i talked to God at that time. told him i was sorry. i hope he heard.
our class cheers were the best! many thanks to the int. students! they have real cool cheers. and our chipmunk instructor, kelwin (sp?)strange name. but i quote, it is "unique" or pronounced elsewise. but he was a pretty good sport. he actually responded when we said "bye chipmunk!" i just realised that he reminds me of someone. oh well, and the other instructor was qy! haha. no, not qin yue. but she was quite funny, she was the intstructor who was doing sentry duty and was so automatic in pointing to the toilet. and there was nemo, the power ranger. haha, he's real skinny mann! yes, i am jealous.
haha. i think i got darker man! even after putting so many layers of sunblock! haha. arielene, i am NOT a ninny for not wanting to deplete 80% of vitamin a&e and get liver spots. hmp!
the amazing race thing was quite funny. we changed nicholas's name to nicolette! nicer name right? haha. we found some clue thing that he dropped on the floor. it had his name on it so we just conveniently made a few alterations to fit our context.
the team relay circiut really bonded the class and level. i was in the cup, ball and hopping one! we won okay! whoo! it was super fun! we won man. we were first! :D haha. i love 3/2. at first i thought i'd never get over 2/1 07 and adjust to 3/2 but i guess it's possible to keep holding on to the past, keep loving it yet still move on and enjoy the rest. yes, and i think my real close friends will know why i say this and know the reference to the events in the past.
oh yes, two days before camp my hand phone was stolen in school. yes, the 2nd time. in 4 blasted months. and i am superly pissed and traumatised over it. and I AM NOT GOING TO GET ANOTHER BLOOMING PHONE. by choice. and i will go through lent without a phone and i will not let it distract me and i will porve to the materialistic fools of this ridiculous world that it can be done! :D
yes, i gtg. i'll elab on sec 3 adventure camp next time.
